Hannah's comments: This is what the Neon Genesis should be and see. Much much better than 1.0 (1.11) film. So sad and sometimes with zero hope to the world that you will cry. I love it. Not even the story was much better, even the animation and as always, the music were great. If I had to say, the animation was best, best of all three things. You can definitely see that the animation is better from the tv-series, I mean, it has been nearly 15 years ago. All movements,sequences and details are much clearer and shown in better ways. What I dislike, if I can say anything, is still that you can´t figure out if the film is after the tv-series or not. Mostly, of course you can tell, but in short seconds not. Anyhow. About the characters, I have always thought Gendo Ikari, Shinji´s father, is the best one. Handsome in a way, but the voice, that voice is so lovely done. Thank you Fumihiko Tashiki for doing the voice of Gendo!
Maybe it was too long ago, I watched 1.11 film, but I don´t remember that the rest of the world was taken part of EVA-project. Yet, Shinji´s robot is still the best. Of course you will be see some Angels. Have you expected something else? If it isn´t clear, this EVA-project, is still a project. Even if it seems all EVAs working perfektly and should be after so many years, they have to catch up and follow the Angels behaviours and strongness. Don´t miss the sadness of human kind. Will it survive? And one more time, the Gods are in the match again. You know, Adam and Eve and the other stuff, talked about in the tv-series. What more...well...yes, don´t forget to watch to the very end, after the productiontexts and stuff.
