Hannah's comments: It came quite natural that I liked this film, since I like the Matrix very much. The animation so, so good as well as the music/sound. But, I still didn't get it, what the "shell" came in. The film left some questions unanswered.

Hannah's comments: I had the oppertunity to watch the "Ghost in the Shell 2, Innocence" , this Saturday the 27th of November, here at Stockholm's Filmfestival. I doubt the film will come out in "real public", on every cinema later on. It is a must; you need to watch the first film, to be able to understand, and it will be tough if you don't know anything about the most important characters. It's very hard to follow , even if you have seen the first "Ghost in the Shell". I'm really glad I watched it on cinema, the sound is so much better here than you will have at your home. Also, of course, big screen. You sure notice the 2nd one is created after the Matrix films. It's even harder here in the 2nd "Ghost in the Shell", to tell what's reality, or virtual reality.
The animation is excellent! I'm certainly looking forward to watch the tv-series, which is released in Japan, but only a few with English subtitles so far. I'm definitely going to watch both films again, on DVD, mostly to understand more what's really happening and go deeper in the history...
